ALLI, MM, MT-BC
Alli Rickel, MM, MT-BC started her music therapy journey while searching for a way to both help others, as well as pursue her passion of music. Alli soon discovered the power of music therapy, and applied to the neurologic music therapy school at Colorado State University. Upon her graduation from CSU with her MT degree along with her violin performance certificate and business administration minor, Alli was granted an internship at Colorado Lutheran Home in Arvada, where she worked with older adults with dementia and Parkinson’s Disease. Alli then went on to complete her masters degree in Music Therapy at Colorado State University.Since her completion of her internship, she has immersed herself in the MT field, and has worked with a wide variety of populations including older adults, children and adults with varying developmental disabilities, and children and adults in mental health. With nearly 7 years of experience in the field of music therapy, Alli offers unique and engaging experiences for each individual client, adapting to their needs along the way. When not practicing music therapy, Alli can be found teaching yoga and playing the violin in symphonies around Colorado. She also enjoys hiking with her giant dogs, skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, and riding her horses.
